Pretty urls - problem

Post by indexx »

Hello, I have a qestion - is there a way to make urls of news look like
http://mysite.com/news/1/
and other links with .html extension

I've tryied everything but still no effects.
I'm using mod rewrite for pretty urls.
I've even try to make page extension to "/" so all pages would be  mysite.com/page/,
for pages I wanted .html i've trying to make page alias - mypage.html but it still no works becouse it can ony be letters and numbers.

Can anyone solve this, or is there a topic about this becouse i didn't find it.

This / is not a way to end a page it is a call for a folder and will throw errors and give search engines a fit, if you follow the instructions in that page you should get the URL you want if not please post what you have done so we may figure out how to help...
