Image Manager and File Manager not showing uploaded files

I just did a new install of CMS made simple and for some reason when I upload an image through the image manager it still tells me that no images are found. 

Yet if I ftp into the site I can see that the image was uploaded and I can pull it into the pages using the Insert/Edit image function with TinyMCE.  Then I decided to see if I could see the files under the file manager and they are not showing up there either. 

Did I forget to to set persmissions somewhere? It's strange because I didn't do anything different from this install compared to the last one I did to test the site out (at least I don't think so).  It's on the same server as well.  The image manager and file manager were working fine there.

Any ideas?

Well I ended up finding out what the problem was.  If I upload a file that has a prefix of thumb_ it will not show up in the image manager or file manager. It works fine if it does not have that extension.

Thought I would share in case anyone else had the same problem
