[SOLVED]Fresh Install Question

Post by sugna »

I seem to have to do a fresh install of 1.4.1. I was running 1.3.1 and when I upgraded the new admin theme didn't take effect as well as TinyMCE.

Can anyone tell me if Templates served from the database? Or should I make copies of the templates and CSS.

Thanks All,

Shane

You may have to change your settings in admin to use the new theme - under user preferences.

As for TinyMCE, what is the problem?

"You may have to change your settings in admin to use the new theme - under user preferences."

Everything "A OK" with Tiny in the "Module Manager" it references 2.4.2 but when I did a "System Information" check it says I'm using 2.4.5

Thank you,

Like sais if you have upgraded you need to make 2 changes to get the new theme...

1) For login go to site admin > global settings at bottom you see drop down for default theme pick new one...

2) For admin/site wide new theme go to my preferences > user preferences and choose new theme from drop down...

Now because you chose the new theme in site admin all new users will/should have new theme for whole site...

As far as tiny, if it works don't mess with it or you may be back next day saying you can't get it to work ;)...
