[solved] Getting a blank document after install

Server details are:
CMS Made Simple Version 1.2.3.
PHP Version 4.4.7
Apache/1.3.37 (Unix)
MySql Version 4.1.15

I've solved my dbconnection problems (thanks Nick) and am now getting an empty document when I go to the homepage or the admin page. I've no idea how to fix it, could somebody give me a few pointers?

I'm changing host - this seems to have fixed a lot of problems.
