[50% solved][NMS] - is there a changelog? - how to use inline-images?

hi,

i just updated the nms-module on one site.
now it says: to use it i'll have to upgrade cmsms.

before i go through all the hassel... is there a changelog for nms,
so i can check if its realy worth it?

i'm currently using 1.3 with that site.

i found the changelog now.
just bugfixes... well, i'll update anyway...

it says inline-images r supported form ver. 2.0, but i've not seen a switch or anything where i could set that?
i already sent a couple of test-mails and they all had the images linked from the server.

will i just have to find a way to make tinyMCE insert a src="cid:..." to the image tags, or how would i go about
sending inline-images?

Have you tried to use the full path to the image when doing a newsletter?...

http://  site.com/uploads/blablabla...  split the http:// so it don't make this a link, but you know the drill ...

That's how the ones I receive do it...

sry, i wasnt able to reply earlier,
i thought this thread is dead already due to the time delay germany usa.

i don't know what ur hinting at with the path?
i tried to play with it, but it obviously just doesn't load the image if the path is wrong.

the newsletters with inline-images i looked at for advice all had something like: src="cid:picture.jpg" in the image tag.
so i just edited it manually but still images don't show up without being loaded from the server.

am i missing something here?
could it be a missing mail header? "content-disposition" or whats it called?

did the reading... well, what can i say... nothing new really...

i knew its not gonna be easy to satisfy all mail-clients, and most tricks with tables, inline css and so on i found out
myself playing around with different mail-clients a while ago.

unfortunately they don't mention how to use inline-images, especially not with cmsms and nms (oh wonder ).
they suggest loading pictures from a server. which is what i wanted to avoid in first place.

in the changelog for nms 2.0 is says: "full support for inline-images"... and in a post i made a couple of month ago
u said: pls wait untill 2.0 is released... well i did... i'm kind stuck now.

could u just clarify if nms supports inline-images now and how i can use that feature?

I don't use NMS so not real familiar with it...
