[solved]Upgrading site doesn't give new Admin Interface [Low Priority]

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved]Upgrading site doesn't give new Admin Interface [Low Priority]

Post by CWebguy »

Ok, this isn't a big deal cause everything seems to be working properly.  But on a fresh install of 1.4 I get a very cool new Admin interface and log in screen, but when updating from 1.3, same old, same old (but it says the new version at the bottom).  Should I be concerned about this?

Thanks!

the upgrade doesn't change the site preference (which controls the login screen, and the default admin theme for new users).... and also doesn't change the admin theme preference in the user settings.

go to your user settings, and change the appropriate preference.
