FE File Manager/Uploads and XSPF Player Permission Problems After Upgrade

Post by pixelita »

Here we go again. I cringe every time there's an upgrade for this or WP because I know it means I'll be in a world of hurt for awhile getting everything calmed down.

The XPSF Player was working fine, I had a playlist of three MP3 files there. Upon upgrade to 1.4, the playlist was hosed; the files were THERE, the module just didn't see them. I deleted everything and started from scratch and now trying to upload the files through the Front End (Uploads) module, it throws out permissions errors no matter what I choose:

755 permission error
766 permission error
777 permission error

the directory is /uploads/music

WHAT am I doing wrong?

I am having the same issue. It shows track numbers 1,2,3,4,5 But no names or times.

Anyone else dealing with this?

Guys - I'm having the same frustrations - what ever I try I can't seem to get the module to return the tracks in the playlist - any help much appreciated as I've got a band website going live this week and this is the final piece in the jigsaw... thanks in advance, John

UPDATE

just tried to get the playlist (http://www.example.com/modules/Enhanced ... playlist=1) and get this...

Fatal error:  Call to a member function GetConfig() on a non-object in /mysite/lib/adodb.functions.php on line 7

I don't understand what it means but may indicate why the playlist isn't being returned...
