[Solved] why am I getting "--Add Me - contenttype_content --"?

I just upgraded from 1.2.4 to 1.3.1 and when I click go to 'content' then 'page' my pages are listed as before with one exception.

Under type instead of getting 'content' I get a line that says "--Add Me - contenttype_content --"

(this does mean that I don't get 'link' next to a link, I get "--Add Me - contenttype_link --", etc.

Any suggestions for fixing this?

Try re-FTP-ing all files of the installation and make sure that ALL files are overwritten... It seems like some untransfered fiiles....

I experienced the same problem when some of the file paths in config.php were not set correctly. I was trying be clever and make everything relative to my installation path, but I missed a few parameters. Take a closer look at your config.php, especially the Path Settings section.

Could you be a little more specific (example)?  I don't think I've done too much tinkering with the config.php, but I could be wrong.

For what it is worth, I tried upgrading to 1.41 and had everything overwritten.  I wonder if there is a permission that is wrong on another file (not overwritten) that I might be having problems with.

Even though I over-wrote everything, there were some problem files still lingering.  For some reason the upgrade to 1.41 created a similar issue when I when to 'site admin' in my control panel.

Since my admin directory has been renamed from the default (meaning not 'admin'), I went in and re-uploaded the files under 'templates' in the admin directory on my local machine to my 'templates' directory on my server (under the 'admin' directory'). 

Looks like very thing is working well.

On a side note, I did do the upgrade very quickly today and had no new issues.  Very smooth!
