Images in the Content Area?

Post by amg »

Hi.  New here.  Been searching for the last hour with limited success so I figured I'd post a question.

I am building a web site for a family member's company.  It is your basic business site (About Us, Contact etc) that does project based work like home building.  I need the ability to have a "Projects" section to which projects may be added as time goes by.  In the Project's Content description, I need to provide the user with the ability to upload pics as well as enter words to describe the pics and project.

All of the info that I've seen and the sample sites do not seem to have any images in the content blocks.  Is that b/c the functionality to do so doesn't exist?
Is there functionality that allows the user to upload an image for use from a content area?
I haven't been able to find reference to such a thing.

Thanks in advance for any input and help.

You can put anything you want in a content block.  Use the Uploads module or the built-in File Manager to upload the images you want, then use TinyMCE to search for and insert the desired image.

tinyMCE will even let you get them from your computer to use in a page...
