Can't see uploaded PDF to link to it

I'm a new user running CMSms 1.3.1 and TinyMCE 2.4.0.

I uploaded a PDF and a Word file to a new folder called Documents using File Manager. When I open File Manager and click on the folder Documents, I see both of my files there. But when I'm in page content, select some text and click the little chain link icon to create a link, and then click the filelist icon and Documents, the Documents folder is empty.

If I click on Images instead I do see all of my images.

What am I doing wrong here?

update tiny to 2.4.2 should fix it
