remove margin on div#nextgame, put it inside div#sidebar, and maybe add class='hascontent' to div#sidebar (see css notes).

i took out the margin from div new game but it just moved it back to the left hand side.

The sidebar already has "has content " in it.

it now looks like this:
div#sidebar.hascontent  {

  float: right;  /* set sidebar on the left side. Change to right to float it right instead. */
  width: 24%;    /* sidebar width, if you change this please also change #main margins */
  display: inline;  /* FIX ie doublemargin bug */
  margin-left: 0;
  class="hascontent"

}

/* if sidebar doesnt include menu but content add class="hascontent" */
div#sidebar.hascontent {
  padding: 0 1%;
  width: 24%;  /* make width smaller if there's padding, or it will get too wide for the floated divs in IE */

}
div#nextgame{

background-color: #000000; /* same bg color as in header */
height:200px;
width:200px;

class="hascontent" goes in the template if you want to use it, not as part of the style rules for the .hascontent class:

put whatever the content is INSIDE the above container...

note: you might wanna fix the off-site image references in the css...
