Errors in content area

Post by Deblus »

I am using v1.3.1

lately whenever I change a page using either FCKeditor or Tiny I get errors inserted at the top of the content area which are seen when I first view the page using Firefox. A refresh of the page removes the errors from view

I have unchecked "edit global content blocks with wysiwyg" and cleared the cache

Any ideas to solve this please

string(152) "Smarty error: [in content:content_en line 1]: syntax error: unrecognized tag: C2AA6950-EE82-4EE6-8395-CE727EAAB606 (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 446)" string(117) "Smarty error: [in content:content_en line 1]: syntax error: unrecognized tag '' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)" string(152) "Smarty error: [in content:content_en line 3]: syntax error: unrecognized tag: 603E8DE4-4941-48C6-B160-4DBDB03A105E (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 446)" string(117) "Smarty error: [in content:content_en line 3]: syntax error: unrecognized tag '' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)" string(153) "Smarty error: [in content:content_en line 15]: syntax error: unrecognized tag: B40F95EE-D7B2-44D5-BD77-A333707B1312 (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 446)" string(118) "Smarty error: [in content:content_en line 15]: syntax error: unrecognized tag '' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)" string(153) "Smarty error: [in content:content_en line 16]: syntax error: unrecognized tag: ADE9AE25-C51E-4B79-AF00-48E3E3CD17AB (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 446)" string(118) "Smarty error: [in content:content_en line 16]: syntax error: unrecognized tag '' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)"

That sounds more like a permissions problem...

Mark

could you be a little more specific please

with the problems I have using FCKeditor I have tried changing lots of settings to get it to work and from memory this appeared about that time .

The FCKed module is very unmaintained since Tiny is the default. Try to change the chmod of some folders from 777 to 755 or 775.
And may be there is something usefull in the http logS.

Mark

those errors appear at the top of any page in the site whenever any change, no matter how small is made to any content using Tiny or Fckeditor.

They are visible when first going to the site to view/check the change worked but disappear when that page is refreshed.

The errors even appear when "previewing" the page when making changes with either editor

I'd be tempted to re-upload the core files and see if that fixes it.
