No custom styles / headline formats in FCK 1.1.0

I spend the last two hours with searching the forum bt I could not find a solution for my problem. I hope some can help me... 

I'm using CMSMS 1.3.1 MLE and FCKEditor 1.1.0. My problem is that I can't make FCK show the styles of my template. Neither in the styles-dropdown nor in the format-dropdown...

Here's what I did so far: I attached my stylesheet to my template in the admin panel. Then I copied the styles I want to use in FCK in the FCK-Preferences-Window.

And that did not work. I still have "red marker" and "yellow marker" and so on in the styles dropdown. And MY styles are missing. Furthermore the Headlines an s and so on are NOT formatted accroding to my stylesheet...

I allready tried to find some bug in the FCK-Files but without success... I really don't know what to do. My customer wants FCK and he wants it to be wysiwyg... Has someone help for me??

They have a problem with tinyMCE that comes with it?...

FCKEditor hasn't been updated in a while as it had numerous problems...

yes, they say they have problems with mce. They say it's messing up their code and it's not very reliable, because they never know how the result will look like. They don't have that much problems with fck. However as long as I can't get the style-feature to work it's only the half thing.

It's strange, because as far as I can see it, fck HAS this feature but somehow it does not work... I would guess it's only a small thing to get this to work, but I can't figure out...

ok i figured something out... i changed in fckconfig.js at line 314
FCKConfig.StylesXmlPath to '/modules/FCKeditorX/fckstyles.xml.php'

And then I deleted the "!" in fckstyles.xml.php at line 108 (according to info in the bug tracker)

Now the styles I add to the preferences of fck apear in the styles-dropdown menu...

But the main problem remains. I can't acutaly see how the selected style looks like.
There must be a way to tell the editor to display a certain css-class in a certain manner.

I really hope someone out there has the same problem and knows how to solve this...

ok, i'm giving up. mce is definitely the better choice. and if my customer does not agree with that, then he must deal with fck's bugs... Anyway, thanks for reading & answering...
