Head Tags?

Post by Years and Years »

Hi,

Do anyone know how to use the Head Tags? Will this be the title of the page or? Is there a tag for this one to use for SEO purpouses?

Thanks for any help!

Well, don't actually use head tags anymore, as they're going to go away.  The original idea is that you would have a block that was different for every page and would automatically be put into the section of the page.

However, this is done just as easily with another content block, so we've decided to remove it in order to reduce redundency.

Thanks,

So for me to have separate metatitles I need to have either a seperate template for every page or have the page title as {title} in the title which is not always the best way. Is there a plug in so I could change the metatitle with in everypage without having to use the pagetitle in the meta?

Thanks!

Again, thanks for making sense of my jumble...

Though, keep in mind that the wysiwyg='false' thing will not work until 011-beta5.  :)

If you are working on the wysiwyg parameter: It would be nice if you can make the reverse think. This means, you can make a block to appear in the wysiwyg but not on the page. In this way you have the chance to give a page content and make output by other plugins, modules or tags.
