Upgraded to 1.3 (after being hacked) now I cannot edit my we

Post by hsweet »

This is what I get if I try to edit a page:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
A:  how to fix.  or B. can I just do a new install and hook it to the existing database?
I have 2 more sites to upgrade and it's getting urgent due to hacking.

thanks

What ver. were you using?...

You may be able to just delete everything off the server then upload a clean ver. not just overwrite because it won't overwrite a file that doesn't exist in CMSMS...

Of course keep/download to your comp. any files you may have added  like in uploads...

To do a new install and hook it to existing DB you need to NOT CREATE TABLES...

Thanks.  I just fixed the problem.

F****ing hacking remnants.  The error message points to a file that is not part of the distribution.  na_Separator.inc.php  I removed file and editing is back.

I guess I'll upgrade my sites all to 3.1 today.

I can send the file to you if would be helpful.

Remember the "small security guide" and its hardening tips.
