New site installed but just "text" shows on site - help?

Just installed a fresh CMSMS site on Godaddy tonight (twice) and when I view the page, I only get text showing on the site (no colors, templates, etc) What am I missing? I gave permissions to everything that the install doc said to do and am stumped.


Installed a site last week on godaddy just fine. Thoughts?

It's a strange one.  When I go to look at the CSS in Firefox - Web Developer Tools, the site appears fine. When I shut off the tools, the styling disappears.

Do you have an .htaccess file in the root? If so, what's in it?

Have you tried it in different browsers? Some browsers have different timeouts ... maybe the servers are to slow.

You can try to use a static stylestheet.

You think maybe it has to do with the ADs goduddy puts in the top?...
