internal server error with v1.3 - no probs with 1.2.4

Hi

I'm getting this internal server error with the new version. I installed like three times and can't get anywhere.

I searched the forums and found a similar problme -but I did everything that was in there.

I went back to v1.2.4 which I've installed before and it installed with no problems

So is there a difference between the old version and the new one that should cause problems on this host ?

Any other ideas what the problem is ?

At least use 1.2.5...

Did you install them the exact same way did you get any "may be a problem" warnings was it an upgrade or clean install what type server what OS is it running etc. etc.?...

Do you have an .htaccess file in the root, or in that dir which is causing the problem?
What PHP version are you running?
What is the memory limit?

The 500 error will cause an error to be logged in the error_log. What are the messages in there?
