Forum problems

Post by Nullig »

I've started getting:

Connection Failed
Error: Too many connections (1040)
Function Performed: CONNECT
Host/DB: localhost/cmsmadesimple_org_new

messages on the Forum, with the top menu and formatting missing.

Is anyone else having problems?

I have a problem similar to your
Connection Failed
Error: Too many connections (1040)
Function Performed: CONNECT
Host/DB: localhost/cmsmadesimple_org_new
how have you solved the 1040 "too many connections"?

was it Similar to "the-sitting-duck-methode?", wait till the solution found you? i didnot found solutions in this forum other than "it's working again"
can i config the maximum connections of my MySQL-database

Well, we've been migrating to new servers, AND we've changed the configuration to allow more database connections.

Some package we are using is using persistent connections somewhere, and is not properly closing them.... we haven't completely tracked it down yet.
