How does Imagemap module work?

I have searched this forum, but can not find any help on how the Imagemap module is supposed to work. Can anybody help?

I have come this far: The module is installed and I have corrected the path in line 134 of the script to match my installation: the image I want to map turns up there but then I am stuck because, you see, I am not an experienced web programmer and I can't figure out how this module is supposed to be used from there.

Do I have to know the coords for the mapping or is there a way to programme it inside the module?

How do one enter the coords - in which form?  and so on.

I will be grateful for every hint or explanation I can get!

Is there really nobody "out there" that have used Imagemap?  It would be very nice if someone could briefly explain how this module is supposed to be used. - There is no user manual or any help at all to be found anywhere, and I have looked around the best I can.

Sorry, I've never used it before.  There isn't anything in the help text for it (under Extensions->Modules)?

Perhaps it would be best to remove the module from the downloads-section until there is some sort of guide on how to use it?

I really think no module without some helptext should be allowed to be published on the official CMCMS site. It does not serve the "made simple" image, I think.
