menu alteration

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Hi I have tried to customise the menu with css but it is always the same I am obviously changing the incorrect menu css please help "where do i alter the css"
