New plugin lastmodfied

What does this do?

Creates Smarty - Data with information about the User and the Date of last modified the page you see.
How do I use it?

Just insert the tag into Template after content like: {lastmodified}

You can use the Smartyvariables as follow:
{$username} - the name of the user
{$first_name}- the first name of the user
{$last_name} - the last name of the user
{$email} - the email of the user
{$modified_date} - the last date, you can format it with smarty - controls
Examples:
{$modified_date|date_format}
{$modified_date|date_format:"%A, %B %e, %Y"}
{$modified_date|date_format:"%H:%M:%S"}
The rules are like strftime formatting. You can all use.

Hmm... what about finnish speaking, swedish speaking, thai speaking or korean speaking people? What do we do with the german upload/download section? I'm personally very happy with the situation that the pages are in english. I hate the situation when I search for something from the forums and get results that are from german threads...

Sorry for offtopic, but this certainly raised my blood pressure for some reason.

We have boards in several languages , but only an english download - page.

Remove the boards in other languages as english and this cms will die.

If you want to have a rich offer of plugins and modules than we must have other languages as english.

My english is not the best and i can as example describe  my plugins better in german as in english.

On the other hand, if you explain your plugin only in German it basically means that all of us non german speaking would not never know anything about it, unless someone would translate it of course. If you really want to have rich offer in plugins and modules, the language must, unfortunately, be english. This way the modules, plugins and software will get much bigger audience and have the ability to get more users.

I see no problem with your english and can understand you well enough. in my opinion it is enough that a person can make him/herself understood.

I understand the need for forums in different languages. Although I also see problems with them. Still I think, that the actual website of the CMSMS has to be in english in order to get more people to use the system. Other option would be ofcourse the localization, but that will mean lots of work for someone...

german is in europe the most spoken language  - over  100.000.000 people are speaking this as her mother language.  Over 18 % off all other europeans are learning german as her second language.

in east - europe  german is the most spoken language and not english.

This is an English speaking website and forum which has very kindly offered specific sections for other languages. CMSMS strongly suports the diversity of other languages.

You may be surprised to discover that the most spoken languages in the world actually fall in this order:

11 Wu

No one should have to deal with foreign language posts in the general forum. Please refer them to a language translation in the appropriate section. Please.

He's from Australia.  That's about as from the US as you can get...

I think I'm doing my part here for localization and allowing other people to speak their mind in the their own language.  However..  keep in mind that most people have English as a second language.  Generally, it's the bridge language on the internet.  And, more importantly, everyone on the dev team understands it.

I know no other language.  Yes, I'm ignorant in that aspect.  Blame it on our school system here.  And, German is on the top of my list of languages I want to learn...

Anyway, my point is.  I'm trying to do my best to accomodate everyone with the resources I have at my disposal.  Time espeically being the hard thing to come by these days...

So, please, let's drop the argument.  Just tell me what you guys need to me to do, and if it doesn't require a ton of time (i.e. rewrite content for multi language), then I'll do it.
