Form Builder problem

Post by mdshah »

CMS mailer using sendmail is working, could deliver mail to say my gmail account. However contact form based on formbuilder module could not deliver the mail to the specified recipient,as configured on the cmsmailer, although the sender is notified that it was succesfully submitted.

Could someone help.

That depends on your form.

If you've got a field in the form that allows the user to specify the 'from' address, your hosts mail server may not (and shouldn't) allow relaying.

In any case, more information would help.

Thank you for your prompt response.

I have adopted the sample contact form that came with the module, and also use the field Email Result to set address(es), hoping that the submitted form is directed to the sales dept of the company, and this email is the same as the address I set as from in the cms mailer.

I just can't decipher the problem. Further help is much appreciated.
