linking all instances of a word to another URL?

if for example i want to make it so every time the word "basketball" appears on my cmsms site, it is automatically links to www.nba.com...is there a simple way to do that without manually linking each word?

The Tag Replacement module might do that - I've never used it, so I don't know for sure.
