SOLVED: Problem adding content

Post by rhysdavies »

A problem has developed while adding and editing content.  When I add content, I enter all the information etc, then when I press 'Submit', I go to a blank page, with just the top menu, breadcrumbs, and shortcuts showing.  If I am editing a page, and press 'submit', the page goes completely white, and I must then refresh to get back to where I was.  However, if I press 'Apply' the changes are saved successfully.  To try and overcome this problem, I have removed any modules that I don't require, and I have upgraded the cmsms software, and when this did not work, I have completely reinstalled the package.  The problem is still there, and I am at a loss to what I can do next.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

TIA

Initially, the problem was in 1.2.4 and I upgraded to 1.2.5 and it hasn't solved the problem.  Can't see anything strange.  I am running CMSMS 1.2.4. on another 3 sites on the same server with no problem.

Hi,  I have now solved this problem.  It was caused by an erroneous module.  I can't say which one becuase I removed all the modules that I wasn't using, and hey presto, the scripts are working again.  Have a nice bank holiday!
