News Categories: Cross-posting to one or more categories?

Is it possible to apply one new article to multiple categories?

I'm using cmsms 1.2.4 and latest news module.

Nope... News doesn't support that.

You could use the calendar module, to post events into multiple categories...

So no way to add the "multi categories" to News, I looked thru the Calendar mod. with no luck seeing how it's done...

I hired a developer to implement this feature for me but we're still working out a couple bugs. I can share the files once we do but some additional tweaks had to be made to work on the server the site is on so not sure how compatible it will be with other installs.

Wild idea : could the RSS module fetch several feeds (categories) then give it back to the News module to export a "combined" feed ?

OK I tried the multicategory News and I keep getting an error about, well I show it...

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_EXIT in /

it shows in more than one php file

exchange this for most any php file?... uninstall, etc. not real sure how I got it to install...

I check News from 1.2.1 to 1.3 and see no difference in the files involved ...
