Windows install - ACLs for folders

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Windows install - ACLs for folders

Post by LeaUK »

Hi all

OK, installed and all up and running, but now my concerns turn to security.

For ease of installation I simply gave all file permissions (excluding Full) to the recommended folders 'tmp' etc for the IUSR account, but how does chmod 755 translate?  i.e. I don't understand the correlation of 'groups' and 'public' in Windows ACL group terms.

Also, does the IIS worker process (ISR_WP) need any ACLs bar read?

Can some please suggest folders,ACLs and USR accounts for the windows platform please - even better then a mod add this to the installation guide.

Many thanks
