{solved} - Problem with news mod, help needed!!!

Hi there,

I have the latest version of CMSMS installed but when I try to update the news mod I get the following error:

Unknown column 'news_extra' in 'field list'

Does anyone how I could fix this?

Did you jump a few updates? or is this a new install?

its a new install but I did use a database from an older install without deleting it

Why? may I ask....

Of course if you don't have any news items you want you could always uninstall the news mod. then reinstall...

If you dont have News in the current install, you could uninstall/remove News and reinstall it. For some reason the upgrade-process didnt modify the News-table which should have the news_extra field, since about 1.2.....
