[SOLVED] News Module tabs not displaying info

Just upgraded to News 2.7 (thanks!) but now I'm unable to see any info/articles when clicking on any tabs in News admin. The news on the site itself is unaffected. The errors viewable in the source code are:

string(153) "Smarty error: [in module_file_tpl:News;articlelist.tpl line 75]: [plugin] modifier 'cms_date_format' is not implemented (core.load_plugins.php, line 124)"

and

Fatal error:  Call to undefined function  smarty_modifier_cms_date_format() in /tmp/templates_c/News^%%40^400^400810DA%%module_file_tpl%3ANews%3Barticlelist.tpl.php on line 114

I've reinstalled the module via ModuleManager, XML and FTP upload and cleared the cache, but no change.

Upgrade to CMS 1.2.4...  cms_date_format came out with 1.2 I think.

That was it - I had upgraded to 1.2.4 earlier but somehow the modifier.cms_date_format.php file had not gotten copied. Thanks!

Where did you find cms_date_format.php? I can't tell if it's something that needs to be installed or..? My NMS messages tag states that it's "not implemented" but I don't know how to do that. Anyone?

That would be in the "plugins" folder of the CMSMS package. Find it and drop it into the plugins folder of your active site.
