[50 % solved] - [Pagination] - read solution here, but cant find again :-/

hi,

i want pagination only to link within subpages.
so when ur at the first/last entry in a category, previous/next page doesnt link to the first/last item from next parent cat.

i found a solution on here somewhere, something with assigning a var somewhere and checking for that,
but stupid me didnt bookmark that thread and now i cant find it again

maybe someone knows what thread i am talking about or can push me in the right direction here.

but... ewww... that would mean i'd have to adjust manually everytime i insert a new page :-/

can anyone think of a better way?
