FrontEndUsers and menu navigation protection?

Post by mnanes »

Hello all,

I've been playing with CMSMS for a couple of weeks now and have found my way around nicely, being a novice programmer to say the least.  I've run into a problem as to how I might password protect certain navigation menu items.

The basis of it is this.  There are two groups of FrontEndUsers for the website I'm building.  For one group of users I'd like all left-sided navigation bar options (i.e. pages) to be visible.  For another group of users I'd like to remove one or two of the navigation bar options.  Is this possible?  I've poked around the menu templates but everything seems to be rerouted such that the categories (my pages) are automatically accessed via database.  If anyone can suggest a solution to this problem I'd be most grateful.

Thank you,

Xam
