Search and Sitemap

Post by Hans »

Hi there
I'm very new to CMSMS and I like this script very much. Almost everything worked immediately.
There some features that feel are essential to an CMS: Search and Sitemap.
I have read that there was a sitemap module before, but apparently it disappeard. Will it come back in the next release?
The searchfunction {search} I tried was ment to be for using Google for indexing. Apart from the fact that you have no influence on indexing, I find that this is a poor solution in comparision with the rest of this script. Besied that I couldn't make it work :-(
It would be great if these features could be implemented as modules.
I hope to hear that that will be the case in the next future :-)
Thanks
Hans

Hi Hans,

Sitemap is a plugin in your current installation. Plugins are simpler than modules and does not require any installation.

There are a number of plugins in the default installation.

Under the menu item Extensions -> Tags the plugins are listed. They can often be called with parameters. Click help for more information.

Try {sitemap} in your template or page.
