[SOLVED] Upgrade from 1.0.8 to 1.2.4

Post by ozbob »

Howdy,

Progressing with an upgrade of 1.0.8 to 1.2.4

Following instructions all new files uploaded, permissions set for config.php and upload directory.

Getting this error when I attempt to run /install/upgrade.php
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare cms_mapi_create_permission() (previously declared in ...../lib/misc.functions.php:826) in ....../lib/module.functions.php on line 27
Any ideas what might be the problem thanks?

Regards
Bob

Managed to get past the above fatal error by reloading those files to the server.

Now get this one:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method: printing->restrictunknownparams() in ....../modules/Printing/Printing.module.php on line 62
Any one got any ideas re this one.

Thanks
Bob

- Re-upload whole lib and modules/Printing folders (check, for example, Filezilla 3.X with Compare directory)
- Clean tmp/cache and tmp/templates_c

Thanks Alby!!  Got there, all working fine now.

Was not overwriting files properly, correctly set option on ftp client.
Cleared the caches.

Thanks for assistance.

FTP isn't very reliable.

FileZilla seems a good tool.
Watch upload log, everyone.

I get the same initial fatal error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare cms_mapi_create_permission() (previously declared in /home/content/on.com/lib/misc.functions.php:786) in /home/content/on.com/lib/module.functions.php on line 27

I reuploaded the folders you mentioned and cleared the cache (I use WS_FTP Lite) but did not get any change in the error message.  Help!  I'm not very technical.

Thanks in advance,
Jenn

Hijacking a "Solved" thread is not likely to get you much help.

Start a new one and provide some context for your issue...

Is this a new install?
Upgrade?
Linux/Windows server?
PHP version?
etc.

Please retry the full upload with FileZilla. Then report precisely.
