More front page articles

LOL I am still missing something! I have tried the forums and read the documentation.
Last thing I want to do is have a bunch of articles on the front page. I am clueless. I have everything else figured out.
I think this is the last head ache then I am happy happy happy, and may dump my other site for this CMS.

How about using the News Module to show articles on your front page?

How do I get the news module to appear on the front page? I am using the theme that comes with CMS made simple, it uses the home link.
There has to be an easy way but I cn't find it.

Hello,

the sample content installs some templates and pages among one used for the front page showing up a left news list. Have a look at this template and its {news...} tag call.
