Hi,
We have installed CMS v 1.0.4 on an Apache server, php 4.4.2, MySQl - 3.23.49
Every thing seemed to go ok, but we don't seem to get the menus appearing on the default CMS Works pages that are installed. If we preview the content via the Admin Panel we receive the following message:
string(207) "Smarty error: [in preview:cmspreviewzfsQ7L line 78]: syntax error: plugin function smarty_function_menu() not found in /home/www/pateladd/cms/plugins//function.menu.php (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 798)"
I am presuming that the problem is the dbl back slash on the plugsins//function.menu.php
Any ideas what might be causing the problem.

I installed a clean copy of v 1.0.4 for the third time and get the same errors every time. This is from the very first time i click "view site". (I did check that all files got copied to the server)
Administration seems to work fine and i can add pages and templates etc. except no dynamic content gets generated when pages are viewed. Doesn't matter which of the standard templates i choose, they all generate errors.
Seems to be when the smarty compiler compiles templates it cannot find the right function in the /plugins folder and reports error on every content to be generated.

MySQL Version: 5.0.45

I seem to be the first and only person who experiences this?! Any clues?

Most of Windows users have rights problems because it is not just Unix' rwx.
You have checked "that all files got copied to the server", but how ? A reliable upload log ? rsync ?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but have you cleared CMSms' cache ?
