CMSMS 1.2.3 - the problem has only just started happening as I've upgraded the system.
I'm getting these warnings...
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/tagc1/public_html/dev/config.php:1) in /home/tagc1/public_html/dev/lib/classes/class.admintheme.inc.php on line 161

I dont think it can be anything to do with CHMOD because I've changed it to 755 at the moment and the same error is still coming up....
Thanks,
Ryan

What does "I've upgraded the system" mean ? We don't know even what "the system" is.Zappa wrote: ...the problem has only just started happening as I've upgraded the system...

Re: Problem with config file and errors?
Sorry I meant the CMS when I said 'system' and the upgrade was upgrading to the latest version of CMSMS 1.2.3.

Hello again,
Pierre M.
No technical context, no start situation, no steps, no action described.. no way to telediagnose. Please review the forum rules or you are wasting our times.Pierre M. wrote: We don't know what you have done to what hence we can't diagnose.

Re: Problem with config file and errors?
Since I have pretty much the same error, I would like some help as well.
The error lines also display now that the website is offline (which I did through the menu)
- I was running CMSMS 1.1 and had these errors: all of the sudden and without any changes to CMSMS (whether there have been changes to do server I don't know)
- I upgraded to 1.2.3 and still have these errors
- the website is at http://www.stevenverbeek.nl/cms/
- Some additional modules are installed: Uploads and EnhancedXSPF for a MP3 player (but these have not been activated on the website). Also installed, but running: Blogs and Captcha
- The server I use is described as below (copied from control panel)
Apache version2.2.8 (Unix)
PHP version5.2.5
MySQL version5.0.45-community
Architecturex86_64
Operating systemLinux
Shared Ip Address***
Path to sendmail/usr/sbin/sendmail
Path to PERL/usr/bin/perl
Kernel version2.6.22.9-61.fc6
cPanel Pro1.0 (RC1)
Hopefully this is sufficient info to help me out- if not I am happy to provide more.
Thanks,
Robert

Re: Problem with config file and errors?
ftp or shell upgrade? did you run the /install/upgrade.php? follow the instructions for upgrading exactly?
try reinstalling (without overwriting the database)
and i hope you made a backup before upgrading.

Re: Problem with config file and errors?
Hello theredspecial-Robert,
Pierre M.
Assuming "these errors" are the warnings reported by Zappa-Ryan may be they come from the additional modules you have installed. Or may be, as you have said, from a change of the hosting context. Beware module quality is not uniform. I hope you can consider to remove some not so used odd modules.theredspecial wrote: - I was running CMSMS 1.1 and had these errors: all of the sudden and without any changes to CMSMS (whether there have been changes to do server I don't know)

Re: Problem with config file and errors?
sorry, thought I had keep me up-to-date turned on
- upgraded to 1.2.4
- suppose the server is causing the trouble: somewhere I found the error message that the modules dir should be 777, but it is 777
- yes, I had a backup, but no changes after restore
- shell untarred the file, and followed the instruction exactly as indicated
- will try to uninstall modules once permissions (see 2nd bullet) is solved
- if this fails i will reinstall CMSMS
