stylesheet not recornized

hello,

I copy the default "Layout: Left sidebar + 1 column" to a new stylesheet witch i want to edit.
I edit the header "div#header h1 a {"image to my own header image.
But on my page i see the default cms header image.
In the page setup i set my own stylesheet as default and not the "Layout: Left sidebar + 1 column".

Does anyone know what is wrong?

Have you cleared your browser cache?
Have you cleared the cache in Admin?

Can you provide a link?

When you copy a stylesheet to a new name, it doesn't have any association to any templates.  You have to associate that stylesheet with the template(s) you want to use it in.  And probably delete the other association.

The simplest way is to copy existing stylesheets to a 'backup version', and then just modify the original.
