Is this possbile with submenus?

I have created subpages; but I don't want to use the drop down feature so I unchecked the "show in menu" option;

But when i do this my submenus won't show up on my content page.

Is it possible to NOT show the drop down menu in the horizontal menu bar; and show the submenu in the content area?

Sounds like you need to use collapse='1' in your menu tag in your template.
e.g.: {menu template='templatename' collapse='1'}
