Small problem while modifying admin theme

I've run into an interesting problem.  I've been able to modify the CSS so the login screen looks different, but once I log in the admin screen seems to be pulling from the default css (in the default directory). So I'm getting the standard look when I log in.

I am using a modified Glassy Blue theme.  I know that I had to change a little in the the login.php and the style.css to go to the correct directory, but any idea why I wouldn't be able to get the main admin screen to use the modified CSS? Is there something I need to alter in the index.php or some other file?

I'd appreciate any suggestions/input.
