[Solved] Album problem... borders on images still showing :(

Hi all,

Hopefully some one will be able to help me with this little problem... I've changed all the borders to none in the CSS of the Album module, but the image thumbnails still have borders. Is there a specific way they must be removed? I am using the latest version of Album module (0.93) and the Simple-Seperate-Pages template.

I have modified the stylesheet.css a little to get rid of the standard white backgrounds for the thumbs and also tried to add the

is not valid CSS. You should have at least linetype after width so...

.thumb a { background-color:transparent; border:0 solid; }

or

.thumb a { background-color:transparent; border:none; }

You might want to check with IE as it might need text-decoration:none also.

I you still have problems try moving that to end so nothing else overrides it.

jongrant may be having the same problem I'm still having. It's not the white box with the shadow that surrounds the thumb, it's a border (mine is blue) that shows directly around the thumb. When you use the .thumb a solution it gets rid of the gray box, not the blue border.

I didn't see Jon's example because the page was down (didn't set a template yet) so I can't be sure if that's what he's referring to. However, you can see my example here:

I have updated the link to show what its doing... I ended up changing the details of the album so forgot to update the actual link here.

Yes Masada my problem is exactly the same as yours... Its a border link that is made from the image being hyperlinked cause it changes colour when visited etc. I've been trying to remove it but it just wont go I did try KO's suggestion but it didnt result in any change.

Any more ideas?
