Exclude Pages from Google Sitemap

I'm sure there is a very simple answer to this, but it eludes me at the moment!

How does one exclude particular pages from gsitemap.php?

You better take a look at a module that generate a sitemap.xml file
http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/sitemapms/
gsitemap.php is very old and not configurable.
Probably also this module is not doing exactly what you want, but it give an option to not put in the file pages that are hidden (under content menu ---> pages you can decide that page should not appear in the menu)
