Storing user entered information

Post by munster »

Hi
I am new to CMSMS or indeed any CMS so please forgive me if I ask stupid questions.  I have started building a site but would like to have a form whereby the data entered would be stored and searchable. Is this possible?  If so can anyone point me in the right direction. Any help gratefully received.

Thanks
Munster

The formbuilder and formbrowser modules are what you're looking for.

You add a field to your form with the type "* Store Results in Database" (if you want to use formbrowser to view them) or "* Write Results to a Flat File" (if you want to use a spreadsheet to view them), depending on what you want to do.

Can I store the result of a check box Or do I have to stick to the text box?

Thanks
