safe mode

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

safe mode

How does one stop being in safe mode? I am just about to install but this is the only thing that is stopping me from pressing continue. Any help would be greatly appreciated? In the FAQs Ive seen they mention safe mode, but don't offer any help with disabling it.

Even if you can't turn off Safe Mode, CMSMS will still run. There are a couple uploading-related features and such that don't work, but other than that I haven't ever noticed much difference...

PHP's "safe mode" is unsupported by CMSms.

I'm right now installing ver 1.4.1. There seems no way to bypass this item when safe mode is on.

I understood from above post CMSMS needs 'SAFE MODE OFF' to support uploading features through the CMS. I'm not using this since I'm only uploading through FTP. Is there a way to bypass the blocking from this installation test?

Hi Alby,

Your line:
if you don't have any error report and you have error for "Checking if the httpd process can create a file inside of a directory it created ...", call install/index.php?allowsafemode=1 for bypass this test (BUT pay attention because you may have difficulty with some addon functionality)
Realy helped me out. Thanks a lot.
