Hi All,
Having problems with the additional editors.
Where do define who these are, as all users are always showing in there.
Also, I have a group called IT, with 2 users. The group has no rights at all, none of the permissions are checked, but they can still edit 2 of my pages?
Any Help?
[Edit] ----
Have managed to figure out to remove someone from additional users, but having to do so from within the database. Not a good idea I know, but so far, the only way I can see how.
I can deselect the additional users from the list box so none are selected, but when you submit the page the first in the list is always selected? Is this ia bug?
Just a suggestion, would it not be a better idea to have 2 listboxes. One that contains users allowed to edit a page, and one containing the users NOT allowed to edit the page?

Re: Additional Editors
Yeah, we're gonna revamp all that stuff in an upcoming release. I want page permissions to be more fine-grained as well.
Though, if you want to remove all of the editors in the box, hold down ctrl when you click the last one.

Re: Additional Editors
I am not understanding how to remove editors from a page.
under OPTIONS for a page I can click on the names of additional editors (all users) but I can find no way to delete them.
Also am I understanding correctly that the only way currently to specify who can edit each page is to do so in the database? And is that safe?
thanks,
Teri

Re: Additional Editors
Sily me, I figured it out.
If a name is not selected when I hit submit, they are disempowered.

Re: Additional Editors
Have the same problem but your hint does not work. Yes, the entries will be deactivated but if I'm saving this page and call it once again additional editors are activatedTed wrote: Though, if you want to remove all of the editors in the box, hold down ctrl when you click the last one.

Re: Additional Editors - Add + Remove Instructions
Well the cryptic instructions had me totally bamboozled too, so I decided to write my own [that's part of what I do that for a living
