I just stumbled on this problem too when upgrading to 1.4.1, did you find a resolution?
If so, please let me know. It is driving me MAD.

Has anybody had this problem when upgrading to 1.4.1?
The Content where you type is is missing.. grayed out. I reinstalled TINYMCE, but stil nothing.

I recently had a site hacked (not upgraded to last update, had the CMS version link in the footer, first CMS site I created) and went into the forum to see how to prevent this.
