Thanks Mark - yeah, tried those combos but still nothing.

One thing that could be a barrier: the admin won't allow files with a *.inc suffix. I'm wondering if that throws a spanner in the works?

Re: Installation is telling me its finished...

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I wonder if I've found something interesting on this.

Could it be that the host is denying *.inc files? I know my administrator does this because their Apache does not parse *.inc. If Smarty produces *.inc, then maybe they're not being processed?

"templates_c is not writable", but it's already 777. What gives?

Hi all, First up, let me way that this is about the tenth CMSMS install I've done (without problems) and I love it. But now I've hit a snag. I'm trying to install 1.3. Re: Again - problem with install on Sourceforge Host

Is there any resolution to this? I'm trying to install 1.3 and keep receiving this error, even though I have chmod 777 to the requisite folders... :(

how to permanently expand one menu item?

hi all,

how would i go about making one section of my menu permanently expanded?

for example, even if menu items 1, 2 and 4 had children, it would only show item 3:

1. hello
2. hello
3. hello
  3.1 sub
  3.2 sub2
  3.3 sub3
4. hello

any ideas?
sig.
