Thanks Mark - yeah, tried those combos but still nothing.
One thing that could be a barrier: the admin won't allow files with a *.inc suffix. I'm wondering if that throws a spanner in the works?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I wonder if I've found something interesting on this.
Could it be that the host is denying *.inc files? I know my administrator does this because their Apache does not parse *.inc. If Smarty produces *.inc, then maybe they're not being processed?

Hi all, First up, let me way that this is about the tenth CMSMS install I've done (without problems) and I love it. But now I've hit a snag. I'm trying to install 1.3. hi all,
how would i go about making one section of my menu permanently expanded?
for example, even if menu items 1, 2 and 4 had children, it would only show item 3:
1. hello
2. hello
3. hello
3.1 sub
3.2 sub2
3.3 sub3
4. hello
any ideas?
