Thanks for your interest Dr.CSS but I managed to sort it, hadn't noticed your post before now.
The issue was in the HTaccess file. For whatever reason it was denying * .php and .cgi.

CMSMS Newb – FTP Installation trouble Looking for some advice on the FTP installation. I can’t get past step 7, Index.PHP won’t load.
