Admin in one language, display in another
Hi all, My knowledge of CMSMS is limited, so please bear with me. Our requirement is that we administer the site in English, and display the site to visitors in another language, but one language only. This would include all text on pages, including button text etc. I have read about the multi langu...

Re: Ver 1.1 apply button problem
Further update to my last post. I did some more experimenting. To cut a long story short. All via FTP: 1 - Took Tiny 1.0.4 off (was working fine) 2 - Put Tiny 1.0.5 on (worked fine) 3 - Took 1.0.5 off 4 - Put 2.2 back on, now all works. Now I am thinking, also with my very limited knowledge on this,...

Re: Ver 1.1 apply button problem
Hi tsw, I only use FireFox for editing. Sorry for not telling you before. I also tried it in Opera, with the same results, I never us IE. As I said to you before, I only did an upgrade from 1.0.8 to 1.1. Also before upgrading I had to uninstall Tiny, and remove it, because it had httpd owner/permiss...

Ver 1.1 apply button problem
Hi all, Have updated from 1.0.8 to 1.1 In the page data entry, etc, clicking on apply, it grays out, but that is all, no other reaction. It is as though the 'Link' to what ever it is supposed to do is not working. The submit button does what it is supposed to do. Editor used is TinyMCE, if this has ...

Re: Menu question
Hi Nullig,
Thanks for the reply. That answers my question perfectly.
Now all I have to do is find someone to do it, because it is beyond me.
Many thanks

Re: Tightening Up CMSMS Just A Bit
Hi bert , This is exactly what I mean . All of these things need to be listed some where , and also how to do it . Even that one of yours , I guess that you assume everyone knows how to do that . What do you do , just chuck an empty index.html in every folder , if not , what is in it ? I have been s...

Re: Tightening Up CMSMS Just A Bit
Hi all , Me for one agree with Debon . Being as green as grass to all this CMS and CMSMS , I did not know this one , it is now in the .htaccess . This to my tiny mind gives the idiots out there the directory list of your site , so they don't have to go hunting . Can these sort of security hints and ...

Folder/File permissions after install
Hi all , Is there a standard 'setup' for file and folder permissions after install ? I know about config.php and those ones , but it is all the folders that you have to change when you install , to full permissions , so that the install can write to them . Do you set them back to 775 , or do you lea...
