Re: Output version number?

That's what I needed--an answer or a clue where to look. Thanks for both!

[SOLVED] Output version number?

I've searched far and wide in docs and forums to no avail. How can I have the current CMSMS version display in a template?

Is it a $gCMS->variables item? Is there a list somewhere of all the $gCMS->variables variables?

Thanks!

Re: Upgrade gone awry--HELP!

Nope, it's not a joke. And I've learned my lesson about staying current! I'm planning to just do a fresh install and move the (now converted) database over. Hopefully that does it. I was unaware that CMSms upgrades had to be incremental. If that's the case, I'm feeling blessed that I have a function...

Upgrade gone awry--HELP!

Just upgraded from 0.31 (I think) to 1.4.1 on Linux/Apache and am having problems. I'm getting a blop of junk at the top of all admin pages, and at the end of the site output. From the top of every admin page: -------------------------------------------- e for the full disclaimer. Copyright and Lice...

Default search module (1.0.3) and inactive pages

I have 1.0.3 installed, and was testing the default search module. The docs say it won't search inactive pages. It certainly does! The search result links for inactive pages can't find the page, just as you'd expect. Inactive pages simply shouldn't be searched. Is there a fix or work-around? I can t...

Rights, rights, rights!

I know this has been bouncing around for a while now, but I just want to put in another plug for a more comprehensive and water-tight rights management system. The current one is just workable, but could be so much better. At the top of my wish-list is a no-brainer: "author" rights to crea...

Re: Installs OK cannot log into admin

This seems to be a persistent problem, and it snowed me for hours. I just posted a new topic with one possible solution (php.ini, session.cookie_domain value).

Check it out--I hope it helps.

Can't log in as admin after install? Possible solution...

I banged my head for hours trying to figure out why a fresh install of CMSMS .13 on my production server wouldn't work, while the CMS worked fine on an "identically" configured dev server. Turns out the servers were NOT configured the same, and the problem turned out to be in my php.ini fi...
