CMS site hacked - links hikacked [SOLVED]

replaced index.php - problem solved extra code added to index.php which I didn't notice because I was reading my local copy of the file instead of downloading it from the server first. The hack was very crude. A div added to the end of the file containing about 10 links. The reason it appeared the h...

Re: MicroTiny

I've only just tried the latest version so didn't realize about the drag and drop - That's quite a cool solution.

Re: MicroTiny

Have to agree with some of the comments above - MicroTiny is great but if we use it someone will always ask "How do I upload a photo?" Telling them to upload an image using image manager is just too complicated for most of them to get their heads around - Personally I will continue to use ...

Template Externalizer - Crashes site

Just installed Template Externalizer 2.08 in CMSMS ver 1.11.1 “Baltra”, Win 2003 with IIS, php 5.2.9, MySQL 5.0.45 It doesn't cause any problems installing but as soon as you activate it (Layout->TemplateExternalizer then click activate) the following errors come up which write to the admin and the ...

Re: Problem with added slashes in CMSMS 1.11

I wonder, developers intentionally spit on it or... Pardon? :-\ you're not alone with problem about $config['root_url'] = 'http://site.com'; see: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/bug/view/8256 I've discovered that if you don't have the root_url variable in the config file in windows then the default ro...

Have to agree with you there. I never have understood why they need all those nested DIVs.

Re: FormBuilder submit button doesn't work in IE

http://www.barnaul.co.nz/index.php?page=contact-us I'm getting closer to finding the problem - it has something to do with the template (which is pretty awful anyway) Any other template and the contact form works for IE - its jsut this one that doens't work - so I'm picking it has something to do wi...

FormBuilder submit button doesn't work in IE

I've just discovered the submit button on the standard contact form in form builder doesn't work in IE 9. Both Firefox & Chrome work fine tho.

I have the latest version of Formbuilder & CMSMS 1.9.2

I've tried different from templates but that didn't solve the problem.

Nah its definately a hack - How they managed to insert some extra code into the index.php file is a mystery to me tho

Re: Website Main Page Generating "Site Down for Maintenance"

@gingercat With your information provided there isn't much we can answer. Your CMSMS Version is? Your last update was? Other Software that may have vulnerability issues installed? What did you do for overall security? And so on... CMSMS ver = 1.9.3 Server = Win 2003 & is currently up to date We...

Re: Website Main Page Generating "Site Down for Maintenance"

Just for the record I had the same hack done to a couple of my CMSMS sites today on a windows server.

Easy enough to fix but IO would really like to know how it was done.

Re: CMSMS as a package for Plesk Reloaded Application Vault

I know this is an old post but did anyone follow this up? I would also like to add CMSMS to plesk for our users. I was thinking of trying it myself - just trying to get my head round how it works.

Re: Module released, file is not found

I've had the same problem as well . The solution was download the xml file and install that way.

Installing by uploading the module files manually caused upload errors when trying to upload images to the gallery.
Installing from the module manager didn't work as it always returned checksum errors
