Hi folks,
CMSMS Version 1.12
I have begin to encounter an issue with a couple of previously fine sites where a global content block simply does not show up. I.E. When opening the website page the entire contents of the GCB is not there.
The template is still shows the GCB in place ({global_content name='my_block'}) but its not showing up on the site until the cache is cleared via System Maintenance.
Has anyone encountered this phenomenon before and if so what fix did you find?
Best,
NB

Re: Global Content Block not showing up
Take a look at the HTML for a page which does not show the GCB. Is there a comment in there about not being able to find it?
If so:

Re: Global Content Block not showing up
Hi Paul,
I eagerly read through the thread you sent me and yes it's the same issue <!-- Html blob 'footer_html' does not exist -->.
No fix was ever discovered apart from adding the contents of the global into the template so it looks like the only real solution is to upgrade.
Thanks for your time on this.
Best,
Neil
